I am a Scientist in the Astrophysics Department at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and an Associate Professor in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Chicago. I am a senior member of the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics and the NSF-Simons SkAI Institute.
I am PI of the DECam Local Volume Exploration Survey (DELVE), and I am a member of the Dark Energy Survey (DES), the Vera C. Rubin Observatory, and the LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration (DESC).
I also work on astronomical instrumentation and ultra-low noise Skipper CCD detector development.
My research focuses on the search for dark matter, though I am interested in many areas of observational cosmology and particle astrophysics.
As an experimentalist, I am heavily involved in improving the instruments that I work with and the data that they collect.
